Central Osaka Honmachi And Around
- Osaka
- 30 Jun, 2025
Located between the major hubs of Kita and Minami, Honmachi and its adjoining districts form the center of Osaka. There’s not much to see here, but it’s a convenient place to stay.
[Tall buildings in Central Osaka]
Conveniently located on the Midosuji subway line, Honmachi is within walking distance of both Kita (to the north) and Minami (to the south). It’s not the most exciting part of the city, but it’s packed with reasonably priced mid-range hotels. And, because this is an office district, there are tons of good restaurants and even a few bars here. And, if you’re a keen walker, you could even reach Osaka-jo Castle on foot from Honmachi.
