We use the following price ranges to classify hotels. The rates here are per-room (ie, not per-person) for twin or double rooms. Exchange rates are as of January 2025.
- Budget: less than ¥20,000 (US$136) per room
- Mid-range: between ¥20,000 (US$136) and ¥50,000 (US$341) per room
- Luxury: over ¥50,000 (US$341) per room
