Two Dogs Taproom

If you’re feeling homesick for the States, Two Dogs Taproom is here to help. This Roppongi craft beer and pizza bar serves up all-American favorites with a dose of warmth and coziness.

Roppongi has no shortage of bars, but few can claim to serve freshly-made wood-fired pizza along with great craft beer. Two Dogs Taproom, run by long-term resident Mike Verweyst, is a favorite with the international crowd in Tokyo for its food, beer, and inviting atmosphere.

As with many places in Roppongi, the staff here speak fluent English. Though food prices aren’t the cheapest around, happy hour between 5pm to 7pm is great value for money, and they do have a good all-you-can-drink deal. Rather unusually for a bar, there’s free WiFi, too.

Unfortunately for an expat-run beer bar, Two Dogs Taproom is an all-smoking restaurant. But, if you’re already used to that from izakaya visits, don’t let that deter you from hanging out here with some beer and pizza.
