[Connecting rooms]

We love the convenience of staying near Tokyo Station and we appreciate the fact that the station and streets nearby are utterly packed with good places to eat and some excellent shops. If you want to be able to walk to the shinkansen, Narita Express, Yamanote loop line and several subway stations, you’ll appreciate the Karaksa.

The Karaksa (they usually don’t capitalize the first “k” but we’re going to here) is one of the few hotels near Tokyo Station that offers real family rooms. They’ve got rooms up to quads and also a few connecting rooms (great for families with older kids). Of course, there are also plenty of twins and doubles for couples and solo travelers.

[Executive Wide Twin room]

There’s a great lounge with free drinks and candy for the kids (you can send your older kids there to hang out while you take a nap etc, or vice-versa). The rooms are on the small side but well kitted out and some have in-room laundry machines. So, if you’re traveling with the gang or just want a solid mid-range hotel near Tokyo Station, the Karaksa is sure to please.
