Kerala Restaurant Kyoto

Kerala is one of the best Indian restaurants in Kyoto, and its downtown location make it the perfect place to fuel up while doing some shopping.

While it’s not much to look at — little more than a cramped corridor lined with tables — the tiny kitchen at Kerala turns out some excellent (mostly) north Indian food. The lunch sets are a fantastic deal, while a la carte dinners will usually run about ¥2500 per head if you go with a group of three or four people. If you need a break from Japanese food, Kerala is a great choice.
