Saiko Shinkan is a Cantonese restaurant where you can dine in a different style on each of its five floors. The expense is worth it for the experience.

Saiko Shinkan is a Cantonese restaurant with a twist: it has 5 floors, and you can dine on each one in a different style. Yum cha in a casual setting, sample over 30 varieties of teas on the 5th floor in the tea lounge, or splash out on a formal banquet. You can also reserve a private room. Everything is, of course, decorated differently! The deep-fried shrimp wafer rolls stuffed with bamboo shoots, yellow chives, and shrimp are a must-order, as is the crispy grilled pork (siew yoke). If you’re feeling overwhelmed by the 50+ items on the menu, just order the dim sum course. It’s more expensive than the average Chinatown restaurant, but worth it for the food and the overall experience.
