Clubasia

Clubasia remains a stalwart in Shibuya’s nightclub scene. You can’t go wrong with a night out here.

Since opening its doors in 1996, Clubasia has been serving partygoers for over 20 years now. It’s right in the middle of Maruyama Street where all the other popular night clubs are, and remains a solid choice for a night out in Shibuya.

As the name suggests, it does draw on a rather dated ‘exotic Asia’ stereotype with the black dragon logo, red facade, and ‘Oriental’ decorations within. Cheesy decoration aside, Club Asia usually has good DJs, both local and international, playing. It’s also a great place to organize private parties.

Should you need a break from high-octane dancing, head to the basement lounge, where it’s a little easier to have a conversation. Lastly, try not to visit Clubasia when it’s at completely full capacity - you’ll have a hard time trying to get to the bathrooms then.
