Brewdog

The Tokyo outpost of Scotland’s most famous beer export, Brewdog, finds its home in a stylish beerhouse in Roppongi. Go for their fantastic craft beers and scotch eggs.

Brewdog, an independent Scottish craft brewery, has gone from strength to strength since its founding in 2007. Not only does it have bars in the UK, they’ve opened up in cities worldwide - Stockholm, Sao Paolo, and now Tokyo.

This stylish bar near Roppongi Station is a fabulous addition to Tokyo’s burgeoning craft beer scene. The brews on tap here are all memorably named and taste just as good. Think names like Cocoa Psycho, Clockwork Tangerine, and Dead Pony Club.

If you can’t decide on one, order a tasting flight and some tasty, umami-ful bar snacks to go with the drinks. You should probably order the scotch eggs. Otherwise, there’s plenty of bottled beer and a good selection of Scottish whiskey.
