If you’re in Osaka Bay to visit the aquarium, you’ll need dining options. Luckily, Tempozan Marketplace is conveniently located right next door. It’s a shopping and dining complex that has everything the average tourist needs: restaurants, souvenir shops, and a Legoland Playground for the kids.

There are nearly 80 shops and restaurants in the building. If you’re looking for slightly cheesy Osaka souvenirs for your coworkers or friends who aren’t especially close, this is probably a decent place to pick some things up. You’ll find takoyaki keychains, ninja-themed gear, and more. There’s also a Legoland playground for kids - great if you’re a slightly worn-out parent who needs a break from keeping an eye on them.

One of the better places to eat in the complex is Naniwa Kuishinbo Yokocho, an area dedicated to Osaka specialies like okonomiyaki, kushikatsu, and takoyaki. It can get crowded, so you might want to consider eating at off-peak hours.
