Drunk Bears

Drunk Bears is an unpretentious pub in Shiodome carrying a good selection of beers from around the world. Don’t go out of your way to visit, but it’s worth stopping by if you’re already in the area and need a beer.

Located a minute’s walk from Conrad Hotel, Drunk Bears is an unpretentious pub catering mostly to the post-work office crowd. Unsurprisingly, this means it’s closed on weekends, though you will sometimes see tourists staying in the hotels nearby coming here for a reprieve from Japanese food.

Drunk Bears carries a nice assortment of beers both bottled and on tap, including Guinness, Asahi Super Dry, Hoegaarden White, Brewdog IPAs, a few Belgians, Sam Adams, and more. All this, plus plenty of fried chicken, nuggets, nachos, and quesadillas to go with the beer. Unfortunately, it is still a smoking establishment.

Drunk Bears isn’t worth going out of your way for. But if you’re staying in the Conrad Hotel or you’re on the way to Shiodome Station back from Hama Rikyu Gardens, it’s not a bad place to stop by for a pint.
