Hankering for the world’s best breakfast? Skip the queues in the Harajuku outlet and eat at the Decks Odaiba branch of Australian restaurant Bills.

Bills, the Australian restaurant that took the world by storm with its scrambled eggs and ricotta pancakes, has opened up in Decks shopping mall in Odaiba. This branch seats 200 people, which makes it the biggest Bills outlet in Japan - and relieves you from the hour-long queues that this restaurant empire has famously inspired.

The menu isn’t too different from other Bills outlets. The usual favorites, like all-day Aussie breakfasts and ricotta pancakes are present, along with other changing seasonal dishes. But, the Odaiba outlet does have a children’s menu. Spaghetti Neapolitan and chips, it’s not - they’re mainly dishes adapted from the grown-ups’ menu.
Bills has lost some of its novelty, but it’s a good place for lunch if you’re in the area. There’s no need to trek out to Odaiba just to eat here. It’s usually easy to get a table on weekdays, but you might want to make some reservations if you’re planning on a weekend visit.
