Located a short walk from Umeda and Osaka Stations in the Kita district, the Moxy is a design-themed upscale business hotel with a bit of a hipster feeling.

If you want easy access to shopping, dining and transport (Osaka Station etc), then you’ll find the Moxy a great choice. It’s on the cheap end of the mid-range bracket and good deals are often available online. Rooms are comfortable and fairly stylish. Bathrooms have showers instead of bathtubs, which is a bit unusual in Japan, but not a major drawback.

This part of the Kita district is being quickly developed and is now home to tons of great shops and restaurants. And, Umeda and Osaka Station are about 10 minutes’ walk away. So, for convenience and cost performance, this is a good choice.
