Capsule Sauna New Century Tokyo
- Tokyo

If you want to save some serious money or just want to try the capsule hotel experience, this male-only capsule hotel is a good choice.
If you’re a man looking for a simple and cheap night to lay your head, this old-school Japanese capsule hotel will work for a night or two. It’s a short walk south of Ueno Station, in a mixed entertainment district. It might appear to be seedy, but it’s safe, even in the evening.
The capsules and common areas (baths etc) are all reasonably clean. They get foreign guests here, so there’s no worry about standing out.
There is a smoking area which can stink up other parts of the common areas, but it’s usually not too bad.
So, given the absurdly low prices here, it’s a decent choice for your first capsule hotel experience. Note that if you want to try a more upscale capsule hotel experience, you might consider the Capsule Hotel Anshin Oyado Premier Tokyo Shinjuku Station in Shinuku.
