Gate Hotel Asakusa Kaminarimon Hulic Tokyo

The Gate Hotel Asakusa is a stylish and comfortable hotel that commands the best location in Asakusa.

With one of the longest names of any hotel in Tokyo, the Gate is also one of the best places to stay in Asakusa. It’s within steps of Kaminarimon Gate, which is the entrance to the tourist district of Asakusa. It’s also just steps from the main Asakusa subway station.

The hotel is stylish and slick, with rooms that are a touch larger than other hotels in this class. The views from the lobby are great, taking in all of Asakusa and the Sky Tree.

While this is not a luxury hotel (and therefore lacks some of the facilities you might find in luxury hotels), it’s a solid moderate-class hotel. There’s a good restaurant on site, which is great for breakfast. The staff tries hard to please and will attend efficiently to most requests.

Given the great location and the reasonable moderate-class rates here, this is one of the best values in Asakusa. It’s recommended!
