Kiyamachi Sakuragawa

Kiyamachi Sakuragawa is an approachable and superb spot to enter the world of kaiseki cuisine.

This small kaiseki restaurant on a picturesque stretch of Kiyamachi-dori is a good place for kaiseki newbies to enter the refined world of kaiseki cuisine (Japanese haute cuisine). The chef chooses from the best seasonally available ingredients to make a flight of dishes that will dazzle the palate and please the eye. We recommend getting someone at your accommodations to call in advance to reserve and to set the budget.
